Alumni Association Board of Directors
The Board of Directors oversees the Alumni Association’s efforts to engage, advance and support the campus community and its alumni and students through a variety of programs, services and awards, as well as opportunities for volunteerism and advocacy. As the Alumni Association's governing body, the Board is composed of alumni whose demonstrated services and leadership display a strong understanding and commitment to our mission.
Role & Responsibility of Directors
Elections
Members of the Board of Directors are elected based on their demonstrated leadership, involvement, support and commitment to the Alumni Association and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. To that end, we hope to engage a diverse group of alumni as Board members who agree to actively participate in a leadership role and commit to work collaboratively in the best interests of the Alumni Association and the Amherst campus.
As alumni of UMass Amherst, you can help to ensure active and diverse representation on the Board by forwarding the names of qualified candidates to the Nominating Committee for consideration.
