Alumni Association Board of Directors

adam martignettiAdam Martignetti ’01 is the chief of staff for Massachusetts State Representative Michael A. Costello. In this role, he oversees the legislative responsibilities for the office, including the Committee on Public Safety & Homeland Security, and manages the representative’s communications to constituents, legislators and Executive agencies. Prior to holding this position, he was a journalist, writing for several newspapers throughout Massachusetts. Both the New England Press Association and the New Hampshire Press Association have recognized his work with awards for reporting.  

Over the past three years, Adam has served as a volunteer on the Alumni Association’s Volunteer Advocacy and Public Affairs Committee. He is also a member of the Merrimack Valley and Greater Boston Alumni Clubs.

While a student at UMass Amherst, Adam worked for four years at the Massachusetts Daily Collegian and served as news editor during his junior and senior years. He was also named a William F. Field Scholar on two occasions.

Adam graduated from UMass Amherst in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in communication. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Boston College. He is an appointed member of the Board of Directors and serves on the Communication, Marketing and Membership and Volunteer Advocacy and Public Affairs Committees. He has been a member of the Alumni Association since 2001.
