Alumni Association Board of Directors
Ed Godek ’96 is the marketing coordinator for Rex Lumber Company in South Windsor, Connecticut. In addition, he manages several of the company’s major millwork accounts and is frequently on campus to recruit and hire UMass Amherst graduates.
A long time volunteer with the UMass Amherst Pioneer Valley Alumni Club, Ed was instrumental in coordinating the club’s annual Holiday Whodunit Dinner to benefit the Mary Killeen Bennett Book Scholarship Fund for UMass Amherst students. He also volunteers on campus with the Alumni Admissions Council. Off campus Ed is an associate director for the Northeast Young Lumber Execs, and volunteers on several organizational and fundraising committees at Mater Dolorosa School. He currently resides in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Ed graduated in 1996 with a bachelor’s of science in building materials and wood technology. He is an elected member of the Board of Directors and serves on the Alumni & Student Programs and Communications & Marketing Committees. In February of 2011, Ed became a Legacy Member of the Alumni Association.
