John Pride ’82 is a client services manager with Fidelity Investments in Cary, NC. John has work in the financial services industry for over twenty years, with a special focus on retirement related products and services.
John graduated in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. While a student, he was a manager for the men’s basketball team. John has served as an Alumni Club leader in the Merrimack Valley and is President of the Triangle Area Alumni Club. He also volunteers as a Boy Scout Leader and children’s basketball and baseball coach in his community.
John is an elected member of the UMass Amherst Alumni Association Board and serves on the Communications & Marketing and Volunteer Leadership & Development Committees, and the Diversity & Inclusion Task Force. He is a Sustaining Member of the Alumni Association.
