Alumni Association Executive Director Appointed!
The University of Massachusetts Amherst has named JC Schnabl as assistant vice chancellor for alumni relations and executive director of the UMass Amherst Alumni Association. "I am very excited to be joining the UMass Amherst Alumni Association at such an important time in the university’s history,” says Schnabl who comes to UMass from the University of California, Los Angeles where he has been deputy assistant vice chancellor for alumni relations since 2007. Black Alumni Strengthen Connection
 With the desire to keep alive the social, professional and educational bonds formed at UMass Amherst, the Black Alumni Network was formed this past summer through the UMass Amherst Alumni Association. Debra (Belkin) Rademacher '88, a three-time All-America soccer player, has been inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. Belkin played on the U.S. Women's National team from 1986-92, and while at UMass led the Minutewomen to the NCAA championship game in 1987, where they lost to N. Carolina 1-0. Over her four-year career at UMass, the Minutewomen had an overall record of 65-9-4, and she joined the U.S. National Team during her junior season.
