Reviewing New Initiatives
Members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors gathered on campus recently to review projects and to discuss strategic initiatives for the coming years. In addition to proposed changes to the membership program, the board evaluated the New Orleans Home Building Project, Community Service Month initiatives, student engagement programs, and suggestions to update the Alumni Association’s mission statement.
The Board of Directors oversees the Alumni Association’s efforts to engage, advance and support the campus community and its alumni and students through a variety of programs, services and awards, as well as opportunities for volunteerism and advocacy. In addition, the Board establishes operational policies and directs the responsible allocation of funds for the Alumni Association.
On Monday, March 8, members of the Alumni Association will have an opportunity to ensure continued representation of their interests through their Board of Directors.
