Chancellor Search Update
The University of Massachusetts is seeking a Chancellor for its flagship campus in Amherst who will, in the words of UMass President Robert L. Caret, "take what is already an outstanding public research university and bring it to even higher levels of accomplishment and acclaim." Details of the search process are available online and the search committee invites graduate students to submit thoughts about the qualities it should be seeking in a new Chancellor. GO UMASS!

The UMass Amherst Alumni Association, in partnership with the UMass Pond Club, invites you to a complimentary pre-game reception prior to the 2nd Annual Frozen Fenway Hockey East doubleheader. This year the Minutemen will take on the Catamounts of Vermont in the first game starting at 4:00 p.m. Come early to claim your space!

Talking about child sex abuse
Jill Starishevsky ’91 has been a prosecutor of child abuse and sex crimes in New York City since 1997. In 2009, she released her first children’s book, My Body Belongs to Me, which guides parents in talking to their young children about the topic of sexual abuse and prevention. Starishevsky shares some of her experiences as a legal defender of children, writer, and mother. Read more »
