Student Alumni Association
The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is a registered student organization sponsored by the UMass Amherst Alumni Association. The SAA serves as a viable link between the alumni of today and the alumni of the future. The programs of the SAA are designed to promote interaction between students and alumni, as well as increase student involvement and a sense of belonging to the UMass Amherst community.

Membership in the SAA provides students the opportunity to network with alumni, cultivate their professional, leadership, and social skills, inspire other students with their pride in UMass Amherst, and maintain an active relationship with the campus. You can even network with other students both in New England and around the country at CASE ASAP Conventions!
Within the membership of the SAA there is a select group of individuals who serve as hosts to the Chancellor and his family, as well as other university officials. These members serve as student ambassadors at all Chancellor-attended events and functions, along with various other functions throughout campus.
In addition, current members are eligible and encouraged to apply for two SAA scholarships, available only to SAA members. Check out more information about the Robert B. Collins '19 Student Alumni Association Scholarship, the Alumni Merit-Based SAA Scholarship and all the other scholarships awarded by the UMass Amherst Alumni Association.
